This Giving Tuesday, 91快活林 Federal is proud to continue its partnership with , a non-profit organization that helps teachers in the U.S. receive funding for projects to enrich their classrooms with critical learning tools, supplies and resources, and experiences. The company has supported this initiative since 2021 as a way to invest in the well-being and academic success of some of the most underserved communities in the country.
According to a鈥, educators spend an average of鈥$610鈥痮f their own money on supplies for their students, and the cost is higher for teachers of color and those who work at equity-focused schools. 91快活林 Federal employees and program managers (on behalf of their teams) funded classroom projects in their local communities with the greatest needs as well as school programs in its shareholder communities of Point Hope, 鲍迟辩颈补摹惫颈办 and Anaktuvuk Pass located on the North Slope of Alaska.
Here鈥檚 how this year鈥檚 campaign helped create impactful learning journeys for students across the U.S.:
- $25,000 donated to classroom projects in 35 states
- 214 projects funded, with 70% of projects supporting schools with >50% student population from low-income households
- 208 teachers supported and 189 schools served
